Having been Master of Ceremonies at numerous fundraiser sporting & charity events, the purpose is to guarantee that the audience have an enjoyable evening but understand that the money raised is going towards an excellent cause. Championing the charity and its purpose by valuing the guests and sponsors, is essential if money is to be handed over. From experience, individuals will give generously if they believe that their money is going to directly benefit others or is being put to good use in some easily recognisable way.
As the match day host working in two corporate hospitality lounges simultaneously at Blackburn Rovers Football Club with audiences in excess of 200 in each, forward planning and flexibility is essential. The ability to work with others and adapt to ever changing circumstances is fundamental and this is what you can expect from me at your function.
Whether it be a charity auction, a games of heads & tails, stand up bingo or other money making fun activities, you can be assured that I will do my uttermost to raise as much as we can at your event. I will help you plan, set reserves, host a fun event and reach your goals. Rest assured that we will tease out bids from even the most reluctant of audiences!
Should you require sporting memorabilia for your charity auctions, I may be able to provide you with this. Items will come with a reserve and any profits on the night are yours! If you require a speaker package which might include myself and a sporting ‘after dinner’ guest, I am more than happy to put something together for you.
